Santas Clinchfield Challenger

Santa, Union Pacific and CSX teamed up in November 1992 to bring a special Santa Train to the former Clinchfield main line. The Santa Train had been a tradition for years, but this was something special. UP Challenger 3985 traveled from Wyoming to Kentucky and Tennessee to power the annual CSX Santa Claus Train. The train was made more special when 3985 was renumbered and relettered in Huntington, West Virginia as Clinchfield Railroad 676.
